HOW TO MAKE A TEMPORARY DOG ID TAG

For those of you bringing along your beloved canine, your St. Petersburg and surrounding areas pet sitter has a simple Vacation Pet ID Tag for you to make for your dog while you’re away so if she’s lost while you’re traveling, the person who finds her will have a local address and telephone number for you.

STEP 1  Click here  to download template

STEP 2  Type your vacation contact info into the template and print it out on card stock.  Make sure you include your name, your cell phone number and the address will you will be staying temporarily.

STEP 3  Sandwich the template between two pieces of clear, self-adhesive shelf liner and cut out with scissors.  (In a pinch, packing tape or even Scotch tape will do the trick.)

STEP 4  Punch a hole for a key ring and attach to your dog’s collar.
